2018 saw the centenary of the RAF. The Museums at Cosford and Hendon were celebrating with “The Summer of Spitfire” - a themed series of events celebrating the history and heritage of this great institution. M3 created print and social assets aimed at getting the events off to a flying start.

RAF Museum Hendon were also launching the “Dambusters Experience” - a realistic virtual reality experience that really brings to life the incredible true story of the raids on the German industry during the second world war. We wanted to engage people of all ages, so working with our friends at ‘Comics in the Classroom’ we created a set of digital assets for the Dambusters story. Comic books are a great way of bringing a story to life, and hark back to the time of kids adventure books - making the audience feel part of the story. From the development of the fabled ‘bouncing bomb’ to the drama of the raid itself, it brought the stories to life for audiences old and new.
