New Year Sale TV advert.

The challenge

M3 have been riding shotgun with Formula One Autocentres for over 20 years, creating and delivering hard working communications to get more drivers heading their way.

At a time of year when everyone is shouting 'Sale', Formula One Autocentres wanted to stand out from the crowd and position themselves as a family-owned business that essentially 'solves problems'.

The solution worked with Formula One Autocentres to create their first ever national TV advert. Building on their family-owned status, an endearing and memorable advert that brought characters Phil and Janet to the screen was devised in which the chaos of their home life was contrasted with the ease of booking an MOT and car service.

The result

This polished animation and the introduction of a family of characters gave Formula One Autocentres real stand-out over and above its competitors, and a host of new creative assets to be used across the website, POS and social media.
