A Night of Momentum, Leadership and Local Pride
M3 recently welcomed clients, partners and business leaders from across the region to Made in Birmingham - an evening designed to bring people together through conversation, inspiration and a shared belief in the future of the city.
Hosted in the iconic Industrial Gallery at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, the event celebrated the people, ideas and energy driving Birmingham forward, with a focus on leadership, resilience and momentum in business.
From the moment guests arrived, there was a real buzz in the room. New conversations were sparked, ideas were shared, and the atmosphere reflected exactly what the evening set out to achieve - bringing together a community of people passionate about Birmingham and what’s possible here.
The evening featured an outstanding line-up of speakers, each bringing a unique perspective and powerful personal story.
Jack Buckner, CEO of UK Athletics, and Olympic medallist Katharine Merry gave guests an exciting insight into the upcoming summer of athletics heading to Birmingham, shining a spotlight on the city’s growing role on the national and international sporting stage.
Paralympic gold medallist Naomi Riches MBE shared a powerful story of trust, teamwork and resilience, speaking openly about the mindset required to overcome challenges and perform under pressure.
Closing the evening was keynote speaker, author and Pride of Britain Award winner Omar Sharif, whose remarkable journey from homelessness and gang life to becoming a recognised leadership speaker left a lasting impression on the room.
While the speakers brought inspiration and perspective, the evening was equally about the conversations happening off stage. Networking and collaboration were a major part of the event, with guests encouraged to connect, share experiences and continue building momentum together.
Following the success of the evening, M3 hopes to make Made in Birmingham an annual event, continuing to create a platform that celebrates leadership, encourages collaboration and champions the city’s business community.
