Description & Responsibilities

Working at Birmingham’s leading marketing agency, as our next PPC Specialist you will have full responsibility for creating, implementing, and managing the strategies for key clients Google and Bing Ads accounts. You will report directly to the Paid Media Director who will guide your CPD and manage M3 client relationships.

Working alongside the paid media team, you will be developing client relationships and growing PPC account performance as the backbone of this role, so you will need to a deep level of working knowledge of managing Paid Digital Channels specifically on Google and Bing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the performance of Paid Search clients.

  • Work alongside digital experts and account teams across a range of exciting clients.

  • Responsible for client performance.

  • Provide a first-class service through honest, transparent and valued ongoing communication with clients.

  • Responsible for the retention of the client portfolio.

Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts.

  • Strong working knowledge of Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.

  • Experience using Google Merchant Center, including product feed checks, diagnostics and basic feed optimisation.

  • Good knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.

  • Experience using Google Data Studio for reporting and dashboarding.

  • Comfortable using Google Ads Editor, bulk uploads and automated rules.

  • Experience with Google Ads Scripts or other automation would be beneficial.

  • Confident carrying out search term reviews, negative keyword updates, ad copy testing, budget pacing and performance analysis.

  • Familiarity with heatmapping and CRO tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity would be beneficial.

  • Google Ads certifications are beneficial.

  • Ecommerce platform experience is beneficial, but not essential.
