At M3, we’re passionate about supporting the next generation of marketers. So, when Anu, a student from the University of Birmingham, joined us for an eight-week placement, we wanted her experience to be more than just sitting at a desk with a task list. Our goal was to give her a real insight into agency life – from the fast pace and collaboration to the creativity that drives every project.
Hands-On Experience
From day one, Anu worked on live client briefs, explored tools like Hotjar, and got involved in UK-specific marketing activity. She collaborated with our team across both digital and creative projects, gaining first-hand experience of how campaigns move from strategy through to delivery.
Anu’s Reflections
Looking back on her time with us, Anu shared:
“The office environment felt so welcoming, and I loved how proactive everyone was in supporting each other. I got to expand my learning into different digital techniques and platforms, which was incredibly valuable. This experience has only strengthened my interest in agency life, and I’d love to be part of M3 if the right opportunity comes up.”
A Two-Way Experience
Anu’s placement was just as valuable for M3. It highlighted the importance of connecting with up-and-coming talent and creating opportunities for students to learn, experiment, and grow.
