This role will be primarily based out of our vibrant Birmingham City Centre location with flexible opportunity to work at our HQ in the rural village of Albrighton, near Wolverhampton.

Key responsibilities

The Paid Social Manager is responsible for the managing, executing and delivering client’s paid social strategy and efficient day to day management of assigned client accounts, focusing on delivering performance against agreed KPIs.

Key Responsibilities include planning, executing, optimising and reporting on best-in-class paid social media campaigns through available social media marketing platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, etc) with emphasis on innovative initiatives, and working closely with the Client, Digital Marketing Director and/or Client Services team to communicate campaign strategy, progress and results.

Campaign management

  • Planning paid social campaigns across multiple-social channels.
  • Optimising and executing M3’s methodologies against paid social plans utilising native platforms, third party and internal tools, as required to deliver efficient and profitable Paid Social campaigns.
  • Critically analysing the performance of campaigns, identifying opportunities to optimise, facilitating changes to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs.
  • Project managing all activity and processes required to proficiently run and create campaigns.
  • Producing high quality client-facing reports, studies and presentations to M3 Agencies brand standards including measuring forecasts vs actual and clearly articulating rationale for optimisation methodologies throughout campaigns.
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of M3 Agency marketplace and the social landscape to ensure delivery of best-in-class campaigns.
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with account teams, clients, advertising partners and colleagues.

New business & pitch support

  • Pro-actively contribute and support the Digital Marketing Director with; research, insight and support around datasets that lead to effective paid, or cross-channel, media strategies and tactics
  • Support new business by delivering paid social audits and account reports
  • Build effective and logical media plans based on RFPs
  • Drive forward the RFP by collaborating and ensuring the response is integrated and aligned to the Social Insights and Content methodology
  • Present to clients your proposals

Skills & experience

  • 2 years minimum Paid Social experience, preferably with some agency experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complicated topics
  • Ability to prioritise Social optimisation actions based in expected impact
  • A proactive approach
  • Excellent written skills
